People from the hood like to rent cars for various reasons, it is what it is, part of the business.
Well some opportunistic people put together some “black excellence black owned business” type shit and started spreading it through black Facebook/insta, etc.
Basically they’re supposed to give you a third party deal on a rental, like hotwire would, you “prepay” through them… then when you show up to get your car the rental company is like ???. You’re fucked. No car, money gone.
I’m sure it’s happening or gonna happen in other ways too
It really is various. Any old Suburban or Tahoe in a fleet is probably moving multiple pounds of marijuana in its lifetime. Hoes will spend everything they own on a Malibu + a trip to the club once a month for their friends when the last thing they ever need to do financially is rent a car.
Drug Dealers looooove getting women with credit cards to rent for them. It is a goddamned sport. 75 percent of poor women renting cars are doing it on behalf of their drug dealer, pimp etc.
I could go on. Right now though post covid it’s hard to rent a vehicle unless your company is paying for it. Games fucked up tremendously
