I wish my uni's sub was as dtamatic as Waterloo's. We have a couple lolcow professors but I don't think any are on Leddit.
The annoying thing is that from what I can tell, u/-dtompkins- actually seems to be in the right here despite getting dunked on by everyone. A bit unprofessional, yes, but NTA.
Apparently waterloo had sent a mass email to every student about the Capitol riots and offered counseling to distressed students. Day of the rake can’t come soon enough

I saw someone commented that I called their field of study (finance) bullshit, and I stand by that. Deep down, I think only a small fraction of the financial industry actually contributes to society. Most (not all) of it is just a bunch of greedy rich fucks making money by leeching money off of other people and pushing money from column A to column B.
Unfathomably based, also true, speaking as someone working in finance this accurately describes me.
Most of the other shit he says is pretty based too.
EDIT: On another note, if these slovenly apes are the next generation of CS majors I see no reason to work anymore. I can pretty much jerk off all day because my job security increased 1000x.
