The war with Madara and Kaguya ends. The war arc was kinda r-slurred but, hey, it was finally over.
But then he has a kino fight with Sasuke where they fight to a draw and then Naruto talks him down. It sounds simple but it works really well in execution. (You may not like it if you don't like flashbacks, but then again if you didn't like flashbacks you wouldn't like Naruto at all)
What really makes Naruto stand above other shonen to me is that the narrative is about something, and by the time it all ends that something has actually been addressed. Naruto's goals are resolving his conflict with the Nine Tails, dealing with his loneliness within the village and desire to become a leader, bringing peace to the shinobi world and ending the shit situation he first learns about when facing Zabuza and Haku, and resolving the conflict with Sasuke that further represents a yin yang binary conflict between hero and edgelord that defines the in-universe history of the setting (Asura and Indra, Hashirama and Madara — to an extent this also applies to Hiruzen and Danzo, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, Kakashi and Obito) By the time the story ends, all of this has been addressed and it doesn't feel like Kishimoto forgot anything. (People complain that the vibe of the franchise changes from ninjas to Dragonball shit, but the serialized plot remained logically coherent)
Is Naruto philosophical or meaningful? No. Does it have many real life lessons to teach outside of simple stuff like friendship is good? Still no.
But by shonen standards Naruto is a well crafted and tightly woven narrative with a solid ending. Outside of literal anime filler, the plot never goes on random adventure story tangents. Every canon arc is part of the main narrative and contributes to it. The closest to random adventures would be Land of Waves and the first part of Chunin Exams, but the first arc is actually quite important because it introduces Naruto to the truly warlike nature of ninjas — he'd previously become a shinobi because he was lonely and desperate for respect, and not because he really wanted to serve in a military — and convinces him of the need to change the world on a political level, and then Chunin Exams naturally transitions from a shits and giggles tournament arc to a very plot relevant attack on the Leaf Village complete with plenty of foreshadowing so it's not a random asspull.
Naruto's solving of his goals also synergize well with each other. Why is he so obsessed with redeeming Sasuke? Because he's gay It's not just because Sasuke was his first friend. It's also because he feels he needs to bring about an end to the Asura/Indra conflict instead of perpetuating it, and because he needs to prove that he can actually be a more peaceful Hokage than his predecessors. It's kind of like why Batman never kills Joker — if Naruto killed Sasuke because it would be easier, how can he be sure that his Ninja President self wouldn't just start wars instead of negotiating with other villages because it was easier? He needed to talk Sasuke down to prove to himself that his belief in peaceful cooperation could be put into practice — "How can I save the ninja world if I can't even save one friend?"
Or Naruto's hero empathy actually being the key to working with the Nine Tails. A lot of anime MCs are empathetic because it's just considered to be a good trait in a protag, but for Naruto it actually unlocks plot developments. He's not the first shinobi to face down and defeat the Nine Tails, but he's ultimately able to cure Kurama of his hatred because he's the first person to actually treat the Nine Tails like a sentient being and not just a critter. Kishimoto doesn't just have Naruto be a friendly guy because it's expected of the genre. His personality serves to explain how and why he accomplished what previous heroes like Hashirama and Minato could not. His empathy allowed him to achieve more permanent solutions to the shinobi world's problems.
And then Naruto's new alliance with Kurama reinforces his belief that he could actually bring peace between villages and redeem Obito, because how hard could that be compared to talking down a demon?
And then his successful redemption of Obito and restoration of Obito's bond with Kakashi further reinforces the belief that his bond with Sasuke could be used to end that conflict. Like I said, the various climaxes to Naruto's goals synergize well with each other and make the final stretch of the series feel very rewarding and cathartic.
And as for that ending, it stands above most shonen shit because it was clearly planned out and it resolves everything. Apparently that's rare in a shonen
Sure Naruto wasn't perfect, but I think it's far more coherent and rewarding to follow than most other shonen shit. I can't speak for all shonen granted, I don't know much about Bleach and I haven't watched newer stuff like Attack on Titan or My Hero, but I feel like the genre rarely reaches Naruto's level of plot polish. With something like One Piece the "One Piece" is an excuse for shenanigans and the overall franchise has gone on for too long to have a single narrative like Naruto. Similar problem with Dragonball where it started off as Journey to the West but turned into galaxy conquerors and planet exploding energy beams, and that was just back in the 90's. It was ultimately for the better that Naruto ended and "only" went on for 700 episodes, even if it means we're stuck with Boruto.

Good writer would do an asspull and give the readers a harem ending.
Yeah the incel mass murderer that tried put everypony under a permanent psyop because the girl he had a crush on (WHO DIDNT EVEN LIKE HIM THAT WAY ANYWAYS) died was actually redeemed in the end cause uhhh... he was sorry? Cool here's you're trip too ninja heaven bro btw the girl's been watching you this whole time so she saw you aim a knife at an infants throat and try too enslave everypony in a giant cope-jutsu but it's all okay apparently.
Oh and apparently Naruto was never even a plucky underdog, he was not only the son of one of the most powerful ninja too ever exist but the literal incarnation of a god ninja. Only reason why he had a hard childhood despite having his mom's last name (and demon) and looking exactly like his hokage dad is because the 3rd decided too leave Naruto too be an unsupervised orphan when every other instance of a demon-carrier was fiercely protected and nurtured by the villages. Neji was apparently completely right about birth determining you're life's outcome apparently, and the whole spiel about working hard and overcoming you're destiny was bullshit. Just be God bro.
The whole series went from top tier shounen in its first few arcs too ending dumbass ninja wizards exploding shit at each other with 0 subtlety or planning. It's fricking cringe.

yeah but is still r-slurred. The author gave a convoluted reason for something existing that already fit in naturally within the universe. A better explanation would have been something like the moon being connected to the giant animals dimension, or the moon being where all the giant animals lived or some shit like that.
I still wanna know where frog world is located. Another land on earth, alternate plane of reality?
What do you mean it's not even convoluted? They said one of kaguras brothers lived on the moon. How else would he have lived if you couldn't farm or breathe? Also in video games the moon having life on it is basically an old trope at this point.
Sasuke and sakura too but sasuke left right after giving her a baby cuz it turns out there are more gods with super eyeballs. Every eyeball in the show is a watered down genetically diluted version of the gods because so many generations have passed. Turns out every alien god can actually be killed but all of them have unique super eyeballs. Like one can shrink anything instantaneously to be microscopic, another can absorb chakra infinitely and throw it back. Idk all the new ones but also science advanced quickly and there's literally villain androids like in dbz now. The entire plot of boruto is gods and one is trying to reincarnate into baruto and his new bro friend. Also in the new timeskip that just happens sasukes kid dresses like a god darn onlyfans whore.
Sharingan and Byakugan are the only good special eyes. All the boruto ones and Mangekyou(Besides Tsukuyomi)/Rinnegan are gay because materializing/manipulating things by looking is a lazy power to give a special eye when having some kind of unique insight is so much better.
There's a movie called the final movie. It's canon but wasn't in the manga. In naruto there's brothers who are the 2 kids of god. One is the sage that helps the main characters. The other is revealed to be on the moon this whole time. The moon was made to seal the tailed beasts using that rock seal ability her super eyeball can do. In the movie he gets super eyes and the cuts the moon in half with a laser to try to kill naruto. The moon had oxygen and inside it were creatures and plants and shit. Basically hollow earth but actually hollow moon.
The sage of six paths' name is Hagoromo and his brother who went to the moon ages ago (to keep an eye on ten tails) is Hamura, however the guy currently living there is his offspring, Toneri. I haven't watched the movie but I've read some stuff about it to see if it's worth it and apparently it's not so much
