After some years of weekly publishing and getting hyper popular via the anime, oshi no ko finally ended.
And it's a level equal to MHa cuck ending.

||Aqua kills himself and the one main villain cute twink and spent three chapters in a drawn out death scene basically calling himself r-slurred, one of them being an alternate vision where he wasn't murked and ruby didn't die of cancer and he became a fan when she followed her idol dream.
Then it just shows all the characters sad about him being dead and then the last chapter is them all happy moving on and getting better. ||
The shit was so trash, the chapters before it were a completely different tone, unrelated and just slice of life looking shit since the plot took a pause. Then randomly frickin dead.

But I know the anime simulpub got a lot of traction then the immediate anime got it to explode since people say it's really good looking and generally good.

Context
When the first episode came out everyone was raving about calling it the best episode ever. I liked Love is War so figured it would be good.
It was fine. Nothing special. I assume all the megafans had never seen anything outside of Loli impregnators 5 so were blown away.
the rest of the series was pretty dumb. I was interested in the mystery of it but then I heard the mystery part was really stupid so never bothered with the most recent season
