Monty was a legitimate turbo autismo genius when it came to computer animated fight choreography. I cannot speak for if he could keep his story together tighter than RT has been since he died, but there would definitely be sicker fights.

RT was cringe and shitty by the time Red vs. Blue moved to Halo 2, I don't think Monty was involved yet but from everything I read about him he seemed to be genuinely talented. The most hilarious thing about Monty to me is his death by e-thot though.

It's been a while since I read the story but apparently Monty was deathly allergic to to a degree where their dander would cause him to swell up to the point of hospitalization. The RT team had a beloved office cat that they moved for the sake of Monty. Then Monty starts dating a Twitch e-thot who parasitically attaches herself to his fame and fortune and injects herself into their shows and podcasts, with little resistance because they are all beta autists. The continues her attention-seeking behaviour by kidnapping random dumpster cats she finds and bringing them home to kill her pay pig(If you've ever met this kind of foid you know what I'm talking about, they seem to have a new kitten every few months but you never see it grow into an adult cat.)

Eventually she finds a cat in a parking lot that she can't help but take, and can't bear to give away, leaving Monty with the option of either growing a spine or getting a dangerous experimental treatment for cat allergies. Monty opts for the experimental treatment and promptly dies from it. Within a few months, the has collected pitybux for his death, and then takes an extended European vacation which she returns from with a fresh set of bolt-on tits and a new carefree outlook on life.

Rooster Teeth will go down as a prime example of why you never pander to or let talentless be involved with your creative endeavours, John Lennon and Yoko Ono for the internet age.
