No, that is not my logic.

Extremism is what's being discussed in the article and in the post.

Extremism is where a group of people go to extremes in order to accomplish their social or political goals.

It's like "terrorism", but without the legal necessity of finding an entity to be a legal terrorist.

If a group of women get together to slander a man because he is a man, that is not extremism per se.

When men get together to encourage one another to put a woman in fear of her health, safety, life, property, etc. — the presumption (especially if those men are associated with known extremist movements) is that they are ideologically motivated violent extremists.

Because gossip is not extremism. It crosses into extremism when the gossipers have a knowable violent intent.

There are countless legal cases where law enforcement have entered evidence of the violent offender / murderer / mass murderer / serial murderer being an Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremist, radicalised by misogynistic violent extremist groups.

Misogynist Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism kidnaps and traffics women in the s*x trade; its participants have been involved in movements that include extortion, harassment, r*pe, murder, and even the attempted overthrow of the US Government (on more than one occasion).

Including Jan 6 2021.

The person who created the_donald was a misogynist White Identity Extremist; the person whom he recruited to turn the subreddit into a 24/7 Trump rally was, prior to being recruited, a frequent visitor of Reddit's "red pill" & pickup artist forum ecosystem.

"Incel" is a multinationally recognised misogynist terrorist affiliation.

There is no such parallel with women. There was a "men have to be rejected unless they treat you right" movement that was set up on Reddit in the late 2010's which borrowed a bunch of their terminology from the incel culture, and the jury's still out as to whether they're just vicious or if they are an attempt to manufacture a parallel movement or an appearance of a parallel movement — but

They haven't been implicated in violent crimes, much less murder, much less Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism, much less international terrorism and s*x trafficking, much less the violent overthrow of governments.
