Marked tendency to sociopathy is so prevalent a feature of Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism / overt racism that it ceases to be a distinguishing aspect, and only technicalities separate pronounced dark triad expression from violent extremist expression.

Manson could have been a textbook case study, if the American justice system were more involved in medical & scientific study of the phenomenon instead of geared towards criminalising substance use.

It's true that Manson is the variety of dark triad that would attach to any convenient ideology that sanctioned his violent urges — but he was and is still a White Identity Extremist.

And Nation of Islam — while it has many of the features of an abusive "cult" — is highly resistant to being controlled or directed by the kind of dark triad personality disordered person that Manson and other stereotypical "death cult" leaders fit into. NOI adherents are disciplined and value fidelity to a preordained, highly invariant dogma. Their society and culture acts as a threshold against the inclusion of sociopaths. They were certainly militant and separatist, and aggressive towards white people & mainstream culture, and have eschatonic millenarianist beliefs, but the atrocities possible under the social order of NOI can't be mass-scaled unless they have significant social power (which they don't have) or significant ethnic mass base (which they don't have).

Though they are a UFO cult, they're essentially a kind of disestablishmentarianism that's a reaction to & rejection of western european colonial culture.

The Biden administration in its first year correctly summed up the White Identity Extremism is the single most prevalent Domestic Violent Extremism threat in America; twice they've put out comprehensive strategy positions on the National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.

It's easy to overlook it because we've been hearing Trump and the alt-Right for ten years-ish now in a full-throated endorsement and arms-open embrace of White Identity Extremist movements. And the groups have pursued strategies of getting right up to the line of legality but not crossing it.

The White Identity Extremist elements of the January 6 coup attempt have been significantly identified, indicted, prosecuted, and imprisoned; Similar with Charlottesville - and attempts to start riots by organised White Identity Extremist groups have been countered & prevented by law enforcement and their groups and officers sued by their targets. Alex Jones is bankrupt; MAGA is on track to be BTFO by the November elections and even MAGA are beginning to realise that they've been playing with fire because the young man who took a shot at Trump was a MAGA extremist.

We have a chance to finally get our heads above water & fight back this November.
