For me it's that most of the Catholics are far-right sedevacantist pseuds. Twitter really is the perfect platform for :marseychud: since the character limit prevents any serious attempts to refute their dumb arguments.

Are they like conspiracy theorist? What do they think the papalcy is conspiring to?

There isn't a single :marseytrain: of thought you can ascribe to all of them but the general gists run along two tracks: either the Church was infiltrated by Freemasons/commies/satanists (repeating myself) or that the Popes since V2 have been modernist heretics. It's as incoherent as it sounds.

When you press them to provide examples it's a bunch of out of context piecemealed nonsense and the real reasons they're salty have more to do with cultural factors outside of the Church's control + Pope Francis cracking down on schismatic rightoids but not excommunicating half the hierarchy in Germany/Belgium/NL/probably other European countries and initiating a second Reformation.

Who was the Vergeltungswaffe 2 Pope (V2)? :marseyreading:

but not excommunicating half the hierarchy in Germany/Belgium/NL/probably other European countries and initiating a second Reformation.

Funny thing, I recently saw a gay flag (7 stripes, not the rainbow peace flag which has 6 stripes) in front of a catholic church I am r-slurred, the peace flag has 7, the gay flag has 6 stripes :marseyprideflag#:

(@Thirtythirst4sissies you're still wrong)

But thank you for the followup! :marseysaint2:

It's not funny. :marseysad: A huge percentage of the Germans are heretics, it's a big problem. Half of the controversial decisions/quotations from Pope Francis can only even be understood in the context of trying to rein in what's happening in your part of the world. For example: German bishops start Der Synodale Weg, so instead Pope Francis calls for an international Synod of the entire Church to try to prevent the Germans going full woke, or the provisions to allow blessings of gay couples was ultimately about telling eurostrags what the absolute maximum they're allowed to do is.

The Pope who called Vatican II was St. Pope John XXIII and then St. Pope Paul VI was heading the Church while it was actually underway and implemented.

I was a bit r-slurred and edited my previous comment before you responded :marseyspecial:

But I even agree with you here. We already have the evangelical church that does these things. Catholics should not transform themselves into progressive larpers, it wouldn't work with their century old hierarchies. That's our job. If you don't like it the catholic way you always can come to our, welcoming side :marseyembrace:

Heretic. :vomit: People picking and choosing their Church to align with their political beliefs is everything that's wrong in the world. Our hearts and minds should be aligned to the teachings of Christ and Holy Mother Church, not the other way around. The older I get the more I appreciate that Catholicism is not a democracy. :marseycrusade:

I think you're just trolling me but the moral teachings of the Catholic Church have been consistent for 2000 years and I would be happy to defend our truth claims as well if you're actually curious sometime. :marseyautism: :marseypope:
