i don't remember who, but someone on twitter in like 2021 just kept saying "we've lost 20% of humanity for the rest of their lives" and i kept thinking "that can't be right, there's gotta be a way back."

but it certainly feels true & i absolutely do not know a better answer.

At this point that's all I care about. If they literally drank the cool-aid I wouldn't give them a thought. But they are going to cause a huge amount of damage.

100%, but I also know that people do come back from cults, and pulling them out is reducing harm for the rest of us.

I can't, I'm too angry with them and they passed unforgiveable for me a long time ago. But if others can keep those doors open it can be a good thing.

yeah there's a long, long history of fash spontaneously deradicalizing, some of whom commit to deradicalizing their former peers. it isn't common and it can't be relied upon, but it happens.
