There used to be - about 16 years ago - language in law applying to the PCA that would allow POTUS to simply declare e.g. "Women / children are being deprived of their rights by accommodating transgender people, therefore the fed gov is taking over all states acknowledging trans people".

I'm a Democrat, and also a Lutheran.
In a million years, I never thought I'd be attacked for being a Lutheran in this country. Not that that makes being attacked for being a Muslim or a Sikh any better.
I'm glad I picked the right side BEFORE Maga started coming after Lutherans.
