Is it true that kindergartners are showing up to school not potty trained? : AskTeachers

We make mom and dad come and change the kid every time they pee or poop. Multiple times a day. Eventually parents get sick of, idk, us hassling them to raising their kid and they put in some effort to train.

I remember being pretty motivated NOT to be called a baby by the time I was 2 or 3. Worst insult in the preschool.

Last year the Mom of one of my 1st graders would email me every couple of weeks to ask if I'd managed to potty train her kid, yet. And I had to explain, again, that I do not potty train children unless they have sprung from my own loins.
