I had a feeling it was random /pol/ hate the jews posting
Is it really only American? I thought it was a protestant thing while catholics don't (thus most of Europe doesn't). Do they not do it in England, Aus or other protestant nations?
Previously, Christians were adamant it was no longer required (Paul is very explicit about it) but there were weirdos in 1900 america that thought it stopped ppl from jerkin it.
Around 2014/2015 is when I remember it ramping up too, and definitely as a reaction to FGM and moids not getting attention anymore. I remember it being spoken about here-and-there online before, but there definitely wasn't a "movement" of any sort.
Mid 20-teens is when the internet got swarmed with astroturfing and bots though, especially burger-based sites before the presidential election, so makes sense we'd notice it then.

Roughly 2015 I think. Maybe a bit earlier.
I think it was partly a reaction to a lot of FGM stuff being in popular discourse.
Also a good /pol/ contingent because da jooz.
Anyways, they're correct, even if largely unhinged. Circumcision is largely an American phenomenon and useless/cosmetic.
Chopping up baby peepees for cosmetic reasons IS weird, and if you think otherwise idk what to tell you.

Except I wasn't wrong.
The only reason it's practiced in those other countries (africa) is because of American NGO's.
That leaves America, America's r-slurred cousin (Australia) and like fricking Saudi Arabia or whatever.
So how is it not largely an American phenomenon? (what i said)

Austalia and UK it's not that much, something like 20%.
America is around 70%
The highest rates are all middle eastern countries
Yemen, Morocco, Iran and Afghanistan are all 99%. There's a bunch more of them that are 90% +

Yes Muslims didn't stop the practice.
