The evidence we had was the girl telling us she was physically abused. We had no reason to distrust her since we all knew her. She didn't fully lie, she embellished the physical abuse she went through. He did put his hands on her, just not to the degree she told us. No, I didn't apologize to the guy. This was decades ago and a life that's long past. Idk what his name is and I don't even talk to my ex anymore. It's just part of my past but yes, I did learn a valuable lesson.

yeah i didnt add the replies but he didn't learn his lesson. roughing a guy up on hearsay was wrong because she lied embellished the truth:marseyclueless:

by "putting his hands on her" she probably meant that she cornered him while going hysterical and he showed her aside to save his hide :peterrunning:
