Probability of a given US resident in 2021 having had a same-s*x partner is approximately 6%, regardless of s*x.

As this probability clearly includes both exclusive homosexuals, bisexuals, and heterosexuals who have "experimented", it stands to reason that non-heterosexual orientation manifests at a rate of <=6%.

Sourced from the GSS, 2008-2021, at a sample size of N=6025. It should be noted, however, that the data only comes from those who reported at least one s*x partner, so the sexual orientation rate of incels remains a mystery.

Intuition would suggest incels would be more heterosexual, but possible correlation of inceldom with higher mutational load may lead to non-standard sexual behaviors.

It nicely filters out fake-bisexual women, too.

As for race, self-identification would underestimate the rate of BIPOCcute twinks, while "have you fricked men" seems to somehow bypass their instincts to deny such things.

Doubt that, the numbers seem to far apart from identification. Women really do like to stretch the definition of s*x

Also, under 30s imply first one was probably conducted on a university campus. It''s like judging the rate of homosexuality in denmark based on inner copenhagen exclusively.

I'm sorry to say, but numbers above 2% seem extremely circumstantial, especially since most of these surveys are conducted and compiled by pro-LGBT rights groups. For Example, the 2011 albanian religion consensus deliberately asked fewer christian neighboorhoods and made the questions weirdly phrased to make the divide seem more extreme, reporting the numbers for christians to be about 11% when the actual number is closer to 45%.

Both of us are using numbers from the GSS, I just went for activity while you used identification.

Interestingly enough, the joint-numbers for gay and bi identity are at 5% (1.7 + 3.3), which is only a percentage point away from non-heterosexual activity at 6%.

This probably means both of our numbers are accurate, however since I'm not aware of how the GSS collects its data, can neither confirm or deny if this is skewed due to college demographics.
