Tinder’s head of security reports that the service receives complaints from women concerning male users who do not return calls after sexual encounters. In response, Match Group has entered agreements with MI5 and Interpol to identify and isolate these threats.

Smart Tinder executives would want this to be the norm - the more shit you add in and the more features you advertise to "keep users safe from getting r*ped and abused" the more implied liability the company inherits when r*pe and abuse happen. It's literally opening Tinder up to massive lawsuits.
