Dwarves are explicitly based on Jews though. Lost their homeland, live as exiles among other people, dream of coming back and eventually mount major expeditions to reclaim it and evict any squatters :marseyimam:

Also mostly craftsman, only rarely farmers, and Dwarven language is based on Semitic languages.
