The IDF is targeting Catholic civilians now

https://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/308625-at-least-21-killed-in-israeli-strike-on-zgharta

The Zgharta district is overwhelmingly Maronite Christians, who are in communion with the Roman church. 21 people blown up, including 12 women and 2 children.

Why would the Israelis do this? They also keep bombing the Irish peacekeepers. Could it possibly be out of irrational religious hatred? :marseyhmm:

Nobody hates Christians more than Zionist Jews do. The Talmud itself states that Jesus is boiling in a vat of semen in Heck. Talmudic ideology is deeply rooted in Jewish supremacism, and the Israeli government operates based on Talmudic ideology.

"Talmudic ideology" doesn't even make sense, the Talmud is not a divinely inspired religious text. Every word in it isn't law. It's primarily debates between opposing Jewish thinkers. The oft-repeated bits from rightoids about how the Talmud says to spit on goyim cattle are from one such debate. The Talmud doesn't say to spit on gentiles, it presents someone saying to spit on them and another source arguing against it.

Saint Louis IX did what any true blue medieval Christian would've done under the circumstances, discovering that a dissident religious group had been lying about maintaining and passing on such texts. :marseycrusade:

The Talmud is mostly boring honestly. 300 pages of debate over whether picking up your dog is allowable on the sabbath.(maybe) 200 pages on whether you're allowed to make your goy slave eat unkosher food or work on the sabbath. (No to both. Any slave you own is to be treated like a fellow Jew. This includes letting him rest on Sunday if he's Christian and Friday if he's muslim.) 5 pages of debate on whether you're allowed to frick slaves. (Only if you marry her first and she's a Jew because gentile women are always ritually unclean because too many Jewish men were marrying Christian women. Also you're not allowed to keep fellow Jews as slaves so you're already committing a major sin if you do have a hot Jewess slave).

This is why they're such good lawyers, they keep trying to invent ways to find technicalities around their God's rulings. Like that whole tunnel Jew thing in NYC from earlier this year was basically part of that.

The real disgusting things about what the Jews do are related to their fricking p-do Mohels who suck the blood out of freshly circumcized baby peepees. Fricking disgusting shit right there ngl.

Depends how they lived duh

You have to have had the chance to accept Christ in order to be able to reject Him

1 Corinthians 3:11-15

For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble—each man's work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

Matthew 5:24-25 Revelation 21:27 and Habakkuk 1:13 along with 2 Maccabees 12:39-46 are the prooftexts in the Bible, there are countless early Church Fathers talking about purgatory as well citing these and we're not :marseyluthercringe: Sola Scriptura. @carpathianHORRORist !Catholics there you go. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15

For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is. If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

Matthew 5:24-25

leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him in the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.

Revelation 21:27

There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Habakkuk 1:13

You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,

I have no idea what the Church's explanation for purgatory is or isn't and I don't particularly care, I think it's a sanctifying place where we are purified of temporal punishment or whatever and not some eternal limbo as we see in pop culture, but I can't recall. All I know is it's there in some capacity and if I cared to I could find out how and why, but I don't feel compelled to and I don't find this knowledge to be of any immediate importance to me. So I won't.

A big part of my transition back to the Church was constantly running into questions and seeming discrepancies and things that felt like they couldn't possibly be and without fail, every time, there were answers to them all with explanations in abundance and I no longer have crises of faith if I run into something I don't have an answer for offhand. I'm utterly confident that the answer is there and I can see it for myself if I feel so inclined, but I feel no need to unless it actively interests me or is pertinent to something else relevant. The answer is yes, the why is inconsequential.

Yeah, that's the whole point of it. You gotta do your time there before you get into heaven.

This was really convenient for the medieval church because they said you could pay monks to pray for your deceased family members to bail them out of purgatory early. They scammed people out of vast amounts of money. This is one of the offensive practices that pissed people off and led to the Reformation.
