Haven't done DXM in over 5 years and I never tried freebase. Will take it either tomorrow or the next day and provide a very thorough trip report. Will probably only go up to the first plateau for my first trip since I saw some people mention it's stronger than the regular stuff.

FreeBASED seems very different for everyone. For some, they enjoy it far more, but for me I get a lot less euphoria and a lot more analytical / pseudo psychedelic effects. It also takes 3 times as long to kick in for some reason. Every time I take it I just wish I had taken LSD instead.
Might have to do with some DXM / DXO ratio shit or maybe it's just due to the speed at which it hits. Have fun though, I'm interested to see your results

Yeah I was noticing that too while reading comments on /r/dxm. I definitely enjoy psychs so I wouldn't mind an lsd light experience. The potential psychedelic effects are why I'm going to start with a low dose because I saw some people reeing about getting stuck in time loops and having bad trips.
