I dont know how Indian nationalists expect a non-partioned India to work. Pakistan can't even make Pakistan work, and they're largely the same religion.
How the frick would they manage a border with Afghanistan? How the frick the would they stop the constant insurgencies? How the frick would they stop the wealthy Muhajirs from having on outsized political influence like they do in current day Pakistan?
