Right, this shits 3 or 4 years old they couldn't have been on it long, it's not their only option for treatment. Also if pre-diabetic pre-fatties didn't take it they would likely end up fat diabetics and need this shit anyways creating the same fricking situation. I have my doubts about it. The studies available suggest that people tend not to keep the weight off after cessation. Whether that's due to the drug or due to them not changing their diet/habits is not clear.
If you think it's gonna be a big thing Eli Lilly also has some that have been looked at. They were trying to study Jardiance as a weight loss drug a few years back, and another new drug they make Mounjaro is being fast-tracked by the FDA for obesity now.
