followed the king's recipe for this
https://altonbrown.com/recipes/aged-eggnog/
I made it at the end of december so it's been aging for ~2.5 months. The flavor is different from when it was fresh but I wouldn't say it's better or worse. I still have five mason jars left and I'm gonna try to make it last until next Christmas. The big downside is that the calories in this are insane and it makes me feel like a bloated fat piece of garbage whenever I drink it.

I've made this recipe, you'd be better of waiting another 19 months to let it sit.

I poured some vodka into a pint of milk and left it by the window for a week.
Same thing.

I did the same thing but followed the recipe from Adam Ragusea, except I halved the alcohol because it was too strong for me. Super easy to make and after aging it tasted like Irish Cream from the store but even better imo.

Not a kangaroo court at all. Imagine if Professor Dumbledore had used Avada Kedavra on one of the students who had misbehaved, then in his defense used the argument that "well it doesn't matter because the student had drank a whole lot of Alihotsy Draught before I used Avada Kedavra on him. How credible do you think a defence like that would be and how would Hogwarts (both teachers and students) react if he was found not guilty because of it?
