Most of the time my dad picked up my sister & me from school, we drove home, ate lunch and he then drove back to work again. On the other days my mom had food ready when we arrived by bus.
Thinking back at it it is kind of funny/surprising/amazing how much my dad sacrificed for his kids. Love that old man (and I think he knows that - but will tell him this again in the next few days).
