110 calories, 28g fiber, and 10g protein in a fricking burrito sized tortilla is insane. And they don't taste weird, they taste like a normal tortilla. If you put one side by side with a regular tortilla I'm not convinced I would be able to tell the difference.

oooh ty for the rec, i bought a protein flatbread one time ( i think these?) and they were so gross i struggled through a chicken caesar wrap with it and think i just abandoned the wrap lol. prob would've been fine if you crisped them up like a cracker or made pizzas or w/e but soft and plain
if u have any more recs like this pls drop them

I specifically made a topic for these because I was amazed at how close they are to regular tortillas but I do a few substitutions elsewhere too. If you accept that they aren't as good as the real thing monk fruit sweetener is a decent alternative to sugar. If you just straight up substitute it for sugar in something like coffee it will be decent but there's a noticeable difference. I did make lemonade one time though that was half sugar half monk fruit instead of all sugar and it was basically unnoticeable. It's also good in baking if you do half and half.
I also like Walden Farm's "pancake syrup." If you go in expecting good maple syrup you'll be disappointed but for what it is (zero calorie "maple syrup") it's surprisingly decent.

I've never even heard of this. Where do you get it? Asian grocery store?

I have no idea where you would find it locally, I get it on Amazon.

the baking thing is genius thank you SO MUCH. i tried it before with splenda but then it got bitter when heated 😩 i'll check that syrup out too. if we're talking shop i have to recommend flavacol it's 0 cal butter flavoured salt they use on popcorn, i use it when cooking all the time when i have to cut fat and it does a really good job, doesn't taste weird when you heat it at all. and if u like movie theatre popcorn you just need this and coconut oil and it's
the worst thing i've ever made in the search for low cal/high protein were these https://imheatherr.com/boos-ridiculous-brownies/ brownies made with whey protein and diet coke lmao. idk why i believed all the hype that they were "good" let alone just "not disgusting" but i'm sure you know how it ended:

Youtube and social media are filled with r-slurred "food hacks" for baked goods that are supposedly good lmao. Imo small substitutions are decent like half and half or whatever but if the recipe is entirely weird shit it's probably inedible.
