:marseybegging: Give me some wine recommendations for Thanksgiving dinner (<$20 a bottle) :marseywinemom:

I usually drink gin or vodka alone so I don't know what wine to serve at a group event. I don't want to ask my older relatives to bring anything, they'll insist water is fine (what we had last year) and my brother will bring coke zero if I ask. Please include some non-reds, my mom sez red gives her headaches. :marseybegging:

Under 20 bucks is difficult in the US, lots of crap under that price point. That guy I'm subscribed to gave a list of cheaper recs for Thanksgiving, maybe check it out, the wines are all listed in the description.

A lot of European wines are not available under that price point, even cru Beaujolais will be difficult to find. I know that Guigal côte du Rhône is very popular on /r/wine and low priced but if you're looking for the perfect turkey pairing this ain't it - great value otherwise.

I'd avoid American wines since I've never had a cheap good one (but I'm a europoor so I have a bias), and try to look for value buys in Spain that has lots of good affordable stuff or south America.

Stop drinking garbage with high levels of residual sugar in the wine like Meiomi.
