Going to Uncle Art's house for Christmas... all the old people there, he had the dingy 70s basement with weak lighting, fake wood paneling, and a bar. Couple tables set up with treats like these, the frosted pretzels, etc. White tinsel tree. I'd sit on the staircase and play with snowglobes

What's the point of having a basement then? Full bar, plenty of couches, a stereo system, and tables for card games. It's where you and 12 other guys hang out, drink pbr, and talk shit about your wives while listening to Steely Dan.
