Hey, !biofoids
A new year is here, and I thought it would be neat to trade skincare routines/products and discuss them. Perhaps we can get some good recommendations from each other!
For mine:
Current Daily cocktail:
COSRX Snail 92 All-in-one cream
Tretinoin 0.025% cream
Melazepam (Azelaic acid)
Galactomyces essence
Moisturize throughout the day with Hada Labo gokujyun hydrating lotion
I try to do a chemical peel at least one a week, try do have IPL treatments every 4-6 months.
Anyone else have some GOAT products or regimens that they wanna share?

I had to get some new jeans and of course they don't make my old ones anymore so I had to take a chance on something I haven't worn before. The problem is that I have beefy thighs and calves so even though the waist and inseam size are correct they end up a little tight on my legs. I got Levi's athletic fit which helps a little but they're still bordering on uncomfortable. Not unwearable but definitely snug. I'm hoping they loosen up a bit as I wear them but does anyone else have this issue and have you found a solution?

broette*
There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be addressed as “bro” most “gender neutral” terms are still a way of typically addressing men: “dude”, “man”, “bro”, “guys” and maybe OP was just trying to put a spin on things while leaning into a more femme way of being addressed when many spaces accommodate men as the “default” including Reddit.
Shut up meg.

She met me and loved my hair but now as we've gotten older she wants me to have a more traditional style. I don't think I could bring myself to it, we've been together for 1 1/2 years. Should I break up with her?
Body autonomy. It's yours. You're the only one with the right to decide what you do with it.
Where was this energy on the post about the gf who doesn't want to shave her moustache anymore
Didn't see the post, would have said the same thing.
You're body belongs to you and no one else.

My hair is a thick fro right now and it is just hard to manage. I have been growing it out for almost a year and haven't been styling it at all. I really don't know what to do with it. I think it is too much for a random barber to deal with it, especially if it's a boomer who doesn't understand why I need sulfate free products. I tried calling places to ask but after they say hello I keep hanging up. Mainly just because it is hard for me to ask for such specific requests. I even tried writing down a script.
"Hello, I just wanted to check in to see if you had experience with my hair type. I only use sulfate free products on it because I have noticed that if I don't it gets even bushier than it is now, and it is pretty bushy"
But as soon as I hear the phone ringing I just can't say it.
Is there a way I can look at a salon and just tell that they would know how to do my hair so I don't have to call in and ask? Do I need to go to a salon if I have thick long hair? Or do masculine barbers know how too? I will admit that I don't like it when men touch me though.
