In an interview on Thursday with The New York Times, Ms. Pelosi said what was widely reported around the time Mr. Biden dropped out: that she believed it was implicitly understood that his exit would be followed by an internal party competition for a new nominee, instead of an anointment of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Idk. The dems are invested so deep in DEI that I don't think there's any way they could avoid anointing Harris, especially if a primary threatened to pick a dreaded white man instead. Claims they didn't want her and it was all totally Bidens fault smell like pure butt covering to me.

dems could easily get 65% of the votes if they cut out their DEI shit (which includes stuff like (1) penalizing cops if they arrest "too many" black teens for committing crimes, (2) the legally enforced systemic discrimination against men and against whites/asians on all levels of society except the very highest, (3) gigahon worship, (4) illegal immigrants over legal immigrants and natives).

Trump can do the Mini in 10 minutes, and tries not to look anything up, but always does at least once. On Sundays, do not bother Trump: the maxi mini takes him all day. It is a White House rule to not ever allude to the supposed 'real' NYT daily puzzles.

The DNC endorsed her, not Biden. And they did it because they had hundred of millions of dollars in donations that only Biden or Kamala could use. And they also did it because they wanted Kamala the whole time and they knew she wouldn't be able to survive a primary. How does anyone square this shit away with the fact that they obviously wanted Biden to tank in a debate before he had a chance to grab the nomination? They wanted Kamala and they wanted to give her as little clock as possible to frick it up. And she still did it. Have fun in California, kam-kam.

Actually, I can't even pretend my point isn't flawed. Now that I think about it, I can't say, "the DNC is in control of everything that happens" and then say, "well the money can't be used unless a third-party outside of the candidates control uses it".. I'll give that to you.

They can't give it to another candidate but they could just give it all to the DNC directly. It's a grey area with accusations of such being used as slush funds but still. Worst case they give it to charities of Biden's/Kamala's key issues who could make PACs of their own and spend it there.

He would have needed to get out like 2 years ago. Didn't Trump announce his run in late 2022? Neighbors be campaigning for 2 years now.
Maybe (if he's cognizant enough to think) he was worried he'd be considered a lame bussy and his presidency basically would have ended 2 years in? Like why bother working with him to pass bills if he's gonna be gone soon. Or he really thought he could float by like in the 2020 pandemic. Dems wanted him to be a one-term or preferably resign early but the Bidens decided to stay in. While his health is clearly failing, I think it's probable he was drugged before the debate. The party wanted a primary so they could insert a glowie, but Biden chained them to the worst candidate in over 100 years.
Biden spent all his power doing it but everyone regrets fricking with him. Gigachad to the end which is why history will bury him.

You're saying the dems negatively drugged him? Literally every conspiracy I've seen around this was saying they would try to positively drug him (amphetamines, coke, adrenochrome, some medication not availible to the public, etc). But you think it was the dems purposely fricking him up?

There was a brief period where redditors tried to pretend that Biden dropping out after the debate was some political masterstroke because Trump had already spent a lot of time/energy on attacking him and now there was a brand new candidate or something equally r-slurred.

I think what's insane about reddit nowadays is how they're constantly deluding themselves and falling for obvious astroturfing and propaganda. When I actually browsed reddit for fun in like 2012, it was kind of refreshing how skeptical everyone was, even when it was annoying.
Nobody would fall for fake viral videos which were insanely common back then, conspiracy talk was common, and nobody trusted politicians. Even the idea of banning subreddits was universally discouraged because people were convinced that the admins would abuse this power.
Not like it was a particularly intelligent user base or anything, but there was at least a bit of healthy skepticism across the website. But the site changed in the next few years, and then by 2016, it completely became a propaganda vessel. It's just shocking how many people will see a pro-Kamala post with 25,000 upmarseys on /r/all from a brand new subreddit with less than 1,000 subscribers, and they'll think it's totally normal.
