Most of the criticism seems to be from ADHDcels who have no patience.
This is way better than that awful Hobbit series. The main elf lady might be overcompensating - thinking being a c*nt to people is how you act tough and ‘strong’, the way weak people always do. But the human dude she’s with is not bad.

The way every white male has an ugly black wife is really strange. Usually they always make every minority character have a minority wife’s but they are doubling down on race mixing here and ignoring any obvious implications like the way the kids or grandparents look.

I just checked again and it says "Ultra HD HDR" so its 4k. It will change depending on network quality, when I rewound it back 20min to find the nergis with her white father it switched to 1080p while buffering and pausing.

I think the dwarf prince is uglier than the wife. I actually don't think she's ugly, just fat. The hobbit couple is equally yoked. I think she's the stepmother though.
My only issue was the slow pace. Hopefully it picks up a bit in the later half of the season.

I like how the dwarves are always Scottish and the hobbits are rural Aussie with random African spouses and white kids
But dwarf dude is a good character, dwarf wife is fine, her face isn’t as annoying as the elf foid
