Disney somehow managed to frick up their bread and butter, a princess movie.

Domestic collection has nearly flattened already https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Wish-(2023)#tab=box-office

They spent 200 mil on this and they'd be lucky if they make 85.

Disney animation went to shit after Lassiter was forced out, meaning he was most likely holding back people from pushing woke elements into productions, and probably why they used metoo to purge him. He now heads up skydance animation and is poaching Disney animators, so he was obviously not some kind of serious sexual predator ( he was a touchy feely Gen xer) . But if you look at their productions after 2017 you can notice a difference

His tenure at Pixar led to a series of bona fide classics. Firing him was likely the stupidest thing they've done, in a sea of very stupid things.
