There is fun satire batman you could make. Where ultra rich man doesn't spend his money to improve town he lives in. Rather spends his money to super hero alter ego becouse he wants to beat up dudes. Or just batman VS white collar crime.

That's basically what Marshal Law did, and it's vastly better than what this show is doing. He was a billionaire called Private Eye who bought newspapers to propagandize his superhero version, and then goes out beating up criminals and junkies because he's paranoid that they'll come after his wealth.
