It went full r-slur and just sandwiched in a whole bunch of goofy butt skits instead of trying to be half a spy movie, although the second one is about as good.

Exactly that's what i loved about it. They weren't trying to be a parody of spy movies they just wanted to do a bunch of skits, some legitimately funny and then some so meta, intentionally unfunny and overlong that they loop back around to being funny. as well as just saying and doing shit for the sake of being surreal. it's like bo selecta, pure insanity
