You can't make this stuff up. Green-skinned people are under attack! The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has decided to issue a trigger warning for "Wicked," citing concerns over discrimination against a "green-skinned" people.

The film follows the friendship between Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman with green skin played by Cynthia Erivo, and Glinda, a popular rich girl portrayed by Ariana Grande.

I didnt knew that England was located in planet Namek... Or Azeroth.

Trigger Warnings are a way to treat audiences as little children. It comes out as a lecture, as if being told you're too stupid to process a film, or work of art, on your own. You basically need to be talked down to. It amounts to an absolute insult to our intelligence.

What does the author think a ratings board does? They're literally there to decide if something is appropriate for little children

Ehhh there's a difference between saying 'stuff in here not for kids, leave em at home' and wading into the nitty gritty of everything that could possibly upset someone. If you really need the second for some off reason you can independently find an in depth review website.

Assuming someone is so fricking sensitive they'd be insulting by a green person facing discrimination in a musical is insultingly infantilizing, I get the push back.

The film is rated pg so they'll go into every tiny thing anyone could possibly care about as that means appropriate for basically any age, that's just what they do.

The other comments include

A man is briefly seen with a small scratch on his face

People flirt with each other

References are made to a mother dying during childbirth.
