Tom Clancy novels are so horrendously shit outside of the few he based off tabletop games he had. Red Storm Rising is fricking amazing so I don't want to be too harsh on him, but I regret every second reading Red Rabbit, even reading Atlas Shrugged was less of a waste of time.

He can't do characters, at all. He needs to stick to Techno Thriller stuff and keep the characterization down to a minimum.
