I've only read Rainbow Six. Where do you think it sits among the rest of his books, best to worst?

It's probably right in the middle between his early Jack Ryan stuff (Red October, Clear and Present Danger etc) and his later books with Jack Ryan's son where my interest fell off HARD. I like the John Clark material too. If you liked rainbow six, No Remorse is that character's origin.
