Bookclub Nomination Thread

!bookworms I wanted initially to post this thread next week, but decided to go ahead now, so the first voting Thread will be next week. I'll pick every single suggestion posted until Tomorrow 20:00 E.T and post them for voting, then select the 5 most upmarseyd choices.

Faust reading went poorly unlike Master and Margarita, so chose wisely this time dramatards. We'll have several threads eliminating every single nominated until we reach a winner and start the next reading sometime in October.

First of all frick all the people who wanted that dusty Germ whatnot that didn't even participate in the threads.

Dunno about nominations. Should we maybe think about a length limit so each book chosen goes by faster and people are more likely to read them?

Book clubs almost always choose lighter fiction for a reason

This isn't supposed to be an English studies class

I second that, fortunately, it doesn't seem people are proposing long books so far, mine for instance has fewer than 300 pages, I think 400 should be the limit, and ideally books between 200-300 pages.

The vast majority of fiction is shorter than 400 anyway, won't be a problem. No one here is reading Atlas Shrugged front to back for fun anyway
