i've been getting into audiobooks again and i dont want to shill out money to audible so i've decided to try librivox
each file i downloaded was seperated by chapters, and before EVERY chapter there is a 20 second intro about how librivox is free, where the narrator is from, what book im listening to, and who wrote it
if that wasn't bad enough, theres a low hum in the background of EVERY SINGLE RECORDING
The humming problem is only present in this book, but they have that stupid butt intro in every single recording for every book i've tried to listen to

are they actual mp3 files that you can see in your computer & not some weird in-app thing? Because if so it can be fixed in like 5 seconds especially if the intros are all uniform in time

you can download each individual chapter as an mp3, but the book is 59 chapters long.

yea that's fine there's a script u can run to batch trim files if u can get ffmepg, it looks like this
Whith some extra commands it can be turned into a 1-click thing & all that does is chop off the first 20 seconds of whatever is in 'og' folder, then puts it in a folder called 'fixed'
for 60 files it would take like maybe 5 seconds or something to finish running

after fricking around with a shell script i got it to work, thanks
sadly the intro wasn't consistent in its time but it was close enough to where it isn't an annoyance
