oh u mean la bb murder cases no that's been out for a long time and it was very fitting with the universe and also the backstory felt very much cannon

e: and it isn't a manga it's a short novel (novella, whatever it's called-- it's not a long read)

I actually liked Near a lot, I think the qualities that a lot of people dislike in near was very intentionally part of his character .. but a lot of people couldn't cope with that scene and admittedly I was pretty pissed off too

I like it. The Japanese resistance is told from another character but Lelouch's arc seems very interesting. He initially infiltrates the underground Christian group to callously use them for instigating unrest and pursuing revenge. He has a friend Milly Ashford pose as his fiancé at these meetings as a cover who slowly becomes converted to the faith and :marseypikachu2: actually falls in love with him and wants to be married for real. :marseyshook:

The dissident Christians believe Britannia is a literal second coming of Babylon and see Lelouch, an exiled Royal as a prophetic figure to rescue Britannia from it's ungodly thrall. Slowly he starts to believe himself. :marseypope:
