Started reading fellowship of the ring for the first time
I was getting preemptively annoyed because I thought the hobbits were gonna do the same r-slurred shit from the movies, but their portrayal in the book is way better

I just finished that one, it's really good. I really like how it gets progressively less and less like The Hobbit the further they venture from the shire.
