After finishing Kawabata's Snow Country I saw there are other of his books in a library so I'm ¾ done with Thousand Cranes. It's very similar in style, a bit more expansive in narrative and I find the prose even more beautiful. But after reading two books that revolve around love I'm going to pick something different next week. Probably some of this dood's œuvre:
