I'm not great at working with pallet wood. All the pallets I get are just straight up nasty. I'm kind of a kitty and I run every single board through the planer and jointer because @D's wood has to be perfectly straight or I'll sperg out and whine like a little b-word.

Most pallets are nasty as heck, however, where I work, occasionally we'll get these really nice ones. They're 5.5" x 1" pine. I just hit them with the orbital to take off any forklift grease, light stain, and shellac. They like the heat treatment marks and shit. Makes it more authentic. Throw some $30 hairpins from Amazon, and it'll sell for $120+.

And, if you have a source of pallets, you can make tables and flip them to the people who buy this book! It's what I do.

Most books are. I was told to read a negotiation tactics book and the author used in-your-shoes examples and "she/her" for all of it.
