To discuss the first 6 chapters of Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go. I'm on chapter 5 right now so I'll try that one and chapter 6 this afternoon and post my thoughts then.

I read this book 2 (or 3?) years ago and I accredit it to me getting "back into reading".

Although if you read too many of Ishiguro's books you will start to notice they're all more or less the same. Klara and the Sun is very good too.

The Unconsoled is radically different and his magnum opus. It's much more difficult though, so one should read Never Let Me Go, Remains of the Day, and An Artist of the Floating World to prepare.

Weirdly I hated Klara and the Sun, but I love Never Let Me Go. Maybe because I don't believe in robot personhood, so I never cared about the bot at all.
