Just finished Klara And The Sun by Ishiguro. It's very similar to Never Let Me Go but didn't hit me in the same way. Still a good read though

those were the two i read in sequence as well, and i had the same experience as you. didn't care for Klara and the Sun at all. then after that i read The Buried Giant which i liked a lot.
