Man frick that, adapting Blood Meridian feels like sacrilege. Struggling through the Spanish bits and trying to make sense of the vague imagery is just part of the experience. You can't put that into movie form without losing the essence of the book.
So much of that book is up to your own interpretation that a movie is either going to completely ruin it or it will end to being a weird art house western that nobody will actually like.
