After years of trying to avoid ereaders the price and availability of books in leafland finally broke me. Got the kindle basic and I'm going to fill it with pirated legally obtained books.
Gotta say I'm impressed, the screen is super easy on the eyes. What ereaders do you guys use? And where do you get your books?

One of the few good things about Portland, we got Powell's Books, one of the best bookstores in the world. So I'm still on a backlog of physical books and I'm probably gonna start typing some of this stuff up for you r-slurs soon.

I'm insanely jealous. I've never once found a book I've really wanted locally. I tried looking for Neuromancer back when I was a kid. Libraries had one copy, waitlisted for a year. Used stores had a list of people waiting for one to show up, and of course the one bookstore chain didnt have it and couldn't get it.
The one good library by my house is overrun with junkies so I don't go there.

We have wonders that you couldn't dream of. One time in the Purple Room I found a huge book with really good color pictures of everything related to the aerial part of the Iran-Iraq War. It was like $250 so I just turned to a nice Phantom pic and masturbated really quick before they could catch me.
