And they really shouldn't read YT written by women, because what women who write fanfics/modern yt won't tell you is that they fetishize non straight dudes like heck and write them more unrealistically, than they write straight men.
At least few PoC male writers get published over mayo women fanfics but they write mostly about their experiences
