Good audio books
are kind of like a radio 
drama 
because theyre heavily edited for the spoken form. If you listen 
to someone litterally reading 
outloud youre losing 
out on the experiance unless youre doing something 
that requires you hands. However if you read audiobooks because you cant sit down and concentrate so the only way for you to 'read' is to play noise 
outload and be in the same room while it plays, i dont think 
youre comprehending and engaging with the material in the same way someone who reads it is.
