It's okay, Marce is not a very scary name so that should moderate its impact, especially on Portland. I'm still stocking up on water and essentials just to be sure.

We did have a serious typhoon actually hit in the 1962 Columbus Day Storm, which did a lot of damage because we don't prepare for that. It's not well known today but anybody who lived through it has some stories. :marseyboomer:

No, but I was stuck in a store downtown for several hours while power was completely blacked out. When I finally got out of there I realized I didn't have my wallet anymore. Some butthole chose that time to steal it! :marseyraging:
