Find someone with charisma (Michigan and New York governors, most senators) that doesn't live in California (striking out Newsom) and can appeal to normal middle class Americans without being a dopey communist r-slur (Walz) and can advocate socially for LGBT stuff on the side without allowing 8 year olds to get their peepees cut off (most progressives). That leaves a couple of Dem red state governors and Sherrod Brown. Gibs for people out in the exurbs without relying on convoluted BS like the broadband or electric car charger rollouts. NC governor Cooper and Brown wouldn't be horribly offensive but two white moderate guys on the ticket is too far for Dems in 2028
