It was supposed to be one of the many offshoots of ardrama considering it was a huge subreddit with something like five hundred thousand followers (500,000) but it ended up shutting down in a matter of months just to never come back. Why is it that all the reddit offshoots end up shutting down or never coming to be their own thing because the mods are incompetent or just lazy?

ignore what anyone else says, cringetopia.org and pcmemes.net couldve absolutely succeeded if we had active jannies there keeping ppl interested like we did with rdrama and wpd

If I recall the PCM mods who were supposed to run it made one pinned post about it and did nothing else to promote it and hardly had any presence on the site at all. /u/Frenchytoasty (?) was one and /u/V0rtexgames was the other. Frenchy isn't a pcm mod anymore.
I think all the bardposting and AHS taunting that went down at the beginning might have scared them off but to the best of my knowledge they never explained what happened with them.

all the mods except vortex werent along with the site cuz they they knew they had a x100000 bigger audience on reddit and didnt really need a site since their sub wasnt banned or too heavily gimped
