>invented Calculus
>father of modern physics
>got into slap-fights with kraut mathematician (Yes, you stole Calculus from me Leibniz, even though I never showed my papers to anyone before you did )
>got into petty fights with Robert Hooke
>sent people to the gallows for counterfeiting as Master of the Mint
>was into alchemy, wanted to create the philosopher's stone
>possibly an Arian, hated !catholics and believed the world is going to end in 2060 according to napkin Bible/Charlemagne math
>lost a fortune on a meme stock market investment
>died a virgin, claimed he was engaged once
!historychads !physics what crazy stories you know about Newton?

Newton's story is insane. He discovered the rules for calculus and wrote them down at roughly the same rate college students learn them today. And that was in his early 20s. He did something that would put him in math history books for the rest of human civilization and he had barely just started his career lol. Probably the smartest person who ever lived (that we know of). This is what happens when someone spends their life on something other than the pursuit of kitty.

Newton was a prime sperg and the funny thing is despite having so many accomplishments and contributions in mathematics, optics and mechanics his favorite subject were theology and alchemy. The man spent hundreds of pages and thousands of hours writing some of the most schizo religious takes and theories.

You can't blame anyone for working hard at chemistry and not getting it at that time. These weren't tards. They had a bunch of theories that kind of make sense. The 4 elements are them groping at understand carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen. Around the 1500s there was this alternate theory that was all about metals. How in the heck were they supposed to know that it's both of those plus a bunch of other things that don't fit into either mold? And these poor bastards, they didn't even a decent goddarn glass beaker to work with.

Tesla was a m'lady type but he had severe OCD and couldn't stand foids wearing earrings.
Newton was peak volcel, he hated when his friends tried to present him some woman to engage, he simply had zero interest.

Apparently Tesla was actually a bit of a brainlet when it came to physics, his contributions were almost purely based on a strong intuition about how electricity works. Which is incredibly impressive to me.

Tesla was a brilliant engineer and he had a strong mathematical foundation when it came to electricity, an empirical example would rather fit Faraday.
The problem is that Tesla was a crackpot when it came to other fields in physics besides electromagnetism, his cosmology takes for instance.
He didn't believe in General Relativity and was fond of the "ether" theory.

What I find most remarkable is his work on historical chronology. This is exactly, and I cannot tell you how fricking exactly to the slightest degree, exactly what I would have done in his place... If I had modern computer technology and a 55-gallon drum of adderal and 6 months to ruin my body and mind. It is fricking incredible that he would even try to put all this data from weird mythological sources together and it's not just complete schizo rambling, it looked to me like he was making a rational effort. It's like what Eusebius did but even more ambitious. This guy had to have some kind of mutation because the normal human brain just does not produce enough dopamine and epinephrine to keep like 5 fricking civilizations in your head simultaneously and constantly compare their timelines, possibly by visualizing them. Dude was unique.
Strangely though... nothing else about him is similar to me in any way.

This is a minor pet peeve of mine.
Isaac Newton wasn't "doing alchemy" in the smoothbrain magical sense your divorced aunt is; Isaac Newton was trying to invent chemistry, he just didn't succeed (give him a break, you can't win them all).

Are you implying that trying to achieve a higher state of human vibration by letting the rays of a blood moon pass through an amethyst chalice containing the blood of a virgin castrati, a ray that is then focused by a convex lens into a single point of holy light onto the center location of a subject's third eye is somehow less valid science than a Renaissance-era volcel trying, but failing, to invent organic chemistry?
